CORTIS

This red grape vine dates back to 1982 and is a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon (Merzling and Zayra Severa and Moskat Ottone) from the Freiburg state institute. In Italy it was added to the list of national vines in 2013.

It is very resistant to downy mildew and so resistant to powdery mildew that no treatments should be necessary. The risk of botrytis is very low. There is a low risk of desiccation of the spine.

2021

  • Color: Wine of great intensity with a purplish color
  • Smell: rich in hints of blackberry and blackcurrant.
  • Taste: with great structure, rich in extracts which make the taste intense and persistent with a slightly acidic finish. The aftertaste enhances the fruity notes with hints of blackberry jam.

Our wine is produced exclusively with grapes deriving from the Cabernet Cortis vine.
